CARFAX compiled a ranking of the most reliable vehicle types using billions of records from across the country, and Kia earned two spots on the list!

In the car category, the Kia Rio was named one of the three most reliable models. Although Kia has discontinued the Rio, this is still a notable accomplishment, and great news for anyone currently driving one or considering purchasing a pre-owned model.

In the SUV category, the Kia Sportage also made the list! The Sportage has less than a 2% likelihood of needing repairs, significantly lower than the 7.7% average for vehicles in its class. Reliability is one of the biggest concerns when purchasing a vehicle, and the Kia Sportage stands strong against the competition, even surpassing the well-known Toyota RAV4.
