Free Assistance
You don’t have to worry about being stranded on a remote road without any money. Our hotline is
available 24/7, all year round, and you can call from anywhere in the U.S. The number is easy to
remember: 1-800-333-4KIA.
Emergency Roadside Assistance
We have a network of more than 17,000 roadside assistance providers who can help you with common
problems like dead batteries, flat tires (if you have a spare that is not flat), or running out of gas.
They won’t charge you anything!
If you have a problem that can’t be fixed on the spot and is covered by the warranty, we’ll tow your
vehicle for free to the closest Kia dealer or Alternate Service Location (ASL). Of course, if your problem is
related to the warranty, your repairs may be covered by the Kia 10-year/100,000-mile warranty
program.
If you break down after hours, on a weekend, or on a holiday, your vehicle will be towed and stored by a
Kia-approved vendor and taken to the nearest dealer or ASL on the next business day.
If your car breaks down due to a warranty issue and you are more than 150 miles away from home, you
may be eligible for trip interruption benefits. This means that you can get some money back for your
meals, lodging, or rental car costs while your car is being fixed. However, you have to wait at least 24
hours before you can claim these benefits. The maximum amount you can get is $100 per day and you
can only claim for up to three days per incident. You also have to call the Kia Consumer Assistance
Center and tell them what happened. They will decide if you qualify for the benefits and if yes, they will
tell you how to get your money back.
